Corporate/Community Partnerships
The goals of the Ardoch Corporate Partnership Project are to increase the involvement of the corporate community within Ardoch's school-based and centre-based programs, to grow the relationship with the corporate sector and to develop a model that can be adopted broadly.
Support for the children and young people involved with Ardoch is always welcome and appreciated and needn't be time consuming. There are so many ways in which corporate organisations can feel the joy of 'giving back' to the community that supports them including becoming a Corporate Volunteer, conducting Basic Needs Drives or becoming a Literary Buddy. The opportunities are only limited by our imaginations!
Involving staff can:
- Engender team spirit.
- Encourage pride for the company.
- Create motivation leading to higher productivity.
- Create an environment of social involvement and social responsibility - which has long term community benefit.
Ardoch has long been involved with the Corporate sector and hasformed many valuable and lasting relationships over the past nineteen years including in winning the 2001 Prime Minister's Award forCommunity Business Partnerships.
Voted the Victorian winner in the 'large business' category,Ardoch, together with Clayton Utz Lawyers, were honored by the federal government for our innovative approach and dedication to developing good corporate citizenship practices in the community. The partnership was also nominated as a national finalist for the awards in Canberra -an event attended by the Prime Minister and over 650 guests.
Our partnership with Clayton Utz has lead to a strategic approach culminating in the development of a corporate partnership model of best practice. Winning the Prime Minister's Award is acknowledgement of our exceptional achievement.
