Schools Supporting Ardoch

Schools helping schools.

At Ardoch we encourage schools to support Ardoch provide projects and programs in other schools.

A partnership where your school supports Ardoch can offer substantial benefits to your school. We provide opportunities for both students and staff to contribute to an organisation that works for the benefit of all young people in their own local community. It is our aim to develop long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships with schools and to maximise awareness of Ardoch's activities and community needs within the education sector.

Partnership opportunities are limitless and the school can become involved with many opportunities such as:
  • Conducting fundraising activities
  • Conducting Basic Needs drives and offering in-kind support
  • Volunteering in a range of Ardoch programs in schools or at the Ardoch Centre
  • Work experience placements
  • Assisting schools with meeting curriculum objectives by raising awareness of issues such as disadvantage, inequality, youth homelessness and poverty within the community
  • Introducing Ardoch to schools established networks such as staff, parent committees and other community or business contacts

We can provide an experienced and qualified teacher to work with your staff and students to tailor a specific 'experience' to suit your school community. We encourage the involvement of the whole school and will look for activities that suit your needs. Students can also become Secondary Student Volunteers assisting with programs in primary and early childhood centres.  Visit our Secondary Student Volunteeringsection for more details. Secondary School Students may also be interested in becoming an Ardoch Youth Ambassador at their school. Visit our  What Students Can Do section for more details.
